New Acne Blemishes Alternate Treatment

Why people get acne is still partly a mystery and, like the common cold, acne has no cure. But skin specialists and researchers know enough about acne so that almost every case is treatable. Although doctors are not sure exactly why it starts, they have a pretty good idea of how it develops. After all, they’ve had a long time to study acne. This condition has been around for as long as there have been people – teenagers have been plagued by acne for thousands of years.

9 New Acne Alternative Treatment

  1. Cleansing Tea for Acne: Take 2 parts stinging nettle and 1 part each chamomile and marigold flowers. Mix the herbs and use two teaspoons of the mix to a cup of boiling water. Drink a cup 3 times daily.
  2. Honey as Antibacterial: Honey kills acne bacteria. Its high sugar content draws pus from acne spots, and its anti-inflammatories soothe the skin. Apply honey, or manuka-honey cream, three times a day.
  3. Herbal Oil Treatment: Herbs to apply to an impending breakout include tea tree oil or lavender essential oil. Either can be applied undiluted to a problem area. A study published in the Medical Journal of Australia in 1990 showed that tea tree oil was just as effective in treating acne as benzoyl peroxide lotion, with less dryness, stinging, burning, and redness.
  4. Coriander Folk Remedy: A teaspoonful of coriander juice, mixed with a pinch of turmeric powder, is another effective home remedy for pimples and blackheads. The mixture should be applied to the face after thoroughly washing it, every night before retiring.
  5. For acne that flares at that time of the month, drink one to two cups of chaste berry tea a day. Some studies show that this herb helps regulate female hormones. Give the herb two or three months to work. And don’t drink copious amounts of the tea to hasten the results – it may make your skin look worse.
  6. Chamomile for Soothing Effect: To calm down rosacea, chamomile, applied to the skin, has anti-inflammatory effects. Rather than using chamomile oil, which is highly concentrated and might cause a skin reaction, use dilute tea. Steep several chamomile tea bags in three cups of boiling water for 10 minutes. Strain the liquid and chill it in the refrigerator. When your face is flushed, dip a cloth into the tea and apply it to the red area.
  7. Essential Oil Face Spritzer: This is a soothing and reviving elixir. Take 120 ml witch hazel, 115 g Aloe vera gel and 20 drops lavender essential oil. Place the ingredients in a clean spray bottle and shake until combined. Mist over your face. Witch hazel extract, which you can find in most drugstores, is an astringent. It can be used alone to gently clean the skin. It also tones the skin and decreases inflammation. This mixture stays good for one week.
  8. Acne Problems Vanish: The bane of every American teenager is the dreaded problem of acne. Now there is an effective remedy for alleviating much of this. All a teen needs to do is wash his or her face morning, noon and night with the pod tea of green beans. You may get ready made green pod tea powder in store to try making one at home. Here is recipe. Bean pod tea is made from fresh young green beans. Take 50 gm of bean pods and boil slowly in 4 liters of water for three to four hours down to 1 or 1 1/2 portion of water. Without stirring strain and store in cool place until next morning or at least a few hours. For chronic acne, add 3 tbsp. of dried chamomile flowers to the pod tea after it’s been removed from the stove. Cover and let it steep until the tea becomes cool, then strain and bottle. Wash the face every 3 hrs. if possible with the tea. A cup should also be drunk each day as well.
  9. Rose Infused Honey: It has a cooling effect on the body and useful as a personal care product. Apply rose infused honey to the face as a facial or as a spot treatment for acne. Just apply with fingertips, and allow it to sit for 15 minutes. The heat from body will begin to thin the honey. Wipe off completely with a warm, wet facecloth. This pulls away bacteria without drying the skin. It may be the best facial ever developed for any skin type. Rose water can be used face wash for a stringing the skin and clearing acne.
